Ghost of Yōtei™ Digital Deluxe Edition

I just finished my play through and earned the platinum trophy. Great experience. Seemed well polished at launch. Such an immersive and beautiful world. Atsu and her allies are well fleshed out and interesting. Satisfying combat. Much improved side quests over Tsushima. I was reminded of TLOU2 a little bit with Lord Saito's notes delivering events from the perspective of your enemy as well as Atsu's internal conflict being similar to Ellie's. One of my favorite parts was the laid back mini trip you take with Atsu and some characters introduced later in the game. The scenery was so beautiful I didn't even fast travel out when it was over. Really cool idea with the pins for Yotei and Tsushima platinum earners. Really hope to see this with all Playstation owned IP's from here on out. Very worthy successor to Tsushima. Just over the moon with how much fun it was. This is the type of product where you feel your money was well spent. Great work by all involved at Sucker Punch!

I don’t think I’ve ever wanted to leave a review for anything…until Ghost of Yotai. I loved Ghost of Tsushima and this game tops it! The storyline, the beautiful scenery, the gameplay style, the different types of cut scenes, everything is amazing. This definitely makes it to my top five games of all time and I still have so much more to play! They knocked it out of the park with this one, I hope they continue to make these games because I will buy every one!

You never get bored in this game. There is always a smoke plume on the horizon to explore, or a band of outlaws hunting you down. The enemies get properly more advanced as you progress from ragtag outlaws to proper samurai, then to shinobi attacking you guerilla-style. The bosses (the Yotei Six) also increase difficulty as you progress. The final battle against Saito will test your resolve. I hope there is a third "Ghosts' game in the near future. Take my money. Platinumed in about +/-70 hours. The visuals! Just stand on a mountainside and take in the views.

Just platinumed Ghost of Yōtei, and all I can say is wow. From the opening moments to the final credits, the experience is consistently excellent. The world is immersive, the combat is incredibly satisfying, and the freedom to truly make Atsu your own through loadouts and playstyle choices adds a level of depth that never gets old. Whether you prefer a calculated, tactical approach or an aggressive, fast-paced style, the game supports it seamlessly. A masterclass in design and execution. 10/10, highly recommended.

Love the story and how the side missions intertwined! The people talking in the towns about the ghost with updated info kept me shocked and wanting to do more just so I could go to the towns and see what the new whispers about me would be about! Graphics was a chefs kiss!! The details in the graphics took me out! Can’t wait to play the next ghost!!

Everything from beginning to end had me hooked and I haven’t touched another game in the last 3 months. Phenomenal job my Sucker Punch, and highly recommend.
