Battlefield™ 6 Phantom Edition

Took a great game and franchise and started to kill it with Battlefield 4. 2042 was a real waste of money if you wanted team and squad play with real humans. I found the bot only lobby to be more fun and the bots actually work with the squad and team. Now fast forward to this mess of a game. The challenges and assignments really take away any desire to play as a team. Every man for themselves. Spawn and die! Rinse and repeat. Takes forever to unlock weapons and gadgets. And no bot only servers to ease the stress and pain. Not everyone has hours a day to give to this mess. If you want to monetize the the game so much then just sell us unlock packages and get rid of the assignments. I do not recommend anybody who doesn’t have hours a day to sacrifice and isn’t on anti stress medication or self medicating play this game. It is basically a hybrid COD game. Not quite COD and Battlefield in name only. No where near the Battlefield quality of play us original franchise players came to expect and appreciate.

I wish I hadn't bought this game, but it's not awful. It's stale already because they refuse to give us what we want. More maps, dedicated servers, etc... This game is probably one of the greatest fumbles I've ever seen in 20+ years of gaming. Don't buy it and wait until it's free.

Four months in, and I still can’t find a Breakthrough lobby that’s all human and no bots. Between people doing their own thing, refusing to play or communicate as a team, and having to sweat like crazy as a noob just to compete, it’s awful. Without cross play, the game feels like a ghost town. And mentioning cross play, PC players seem to have a microsecond advantage over PS5/Xbox, and in an FPS, that’s everything. You’ll tag someone from the side, land 1–10 shots while they’re 50–80 meters away, and they’ll still whip around and one click you. PC players also always seem to know where you are when coming around corners, as if you've already peered around it.. hmm.. Just play BF4. KEEP IT ALIVE!!!

Campaign is so bad, controls are trash. Original Doom is better than this garbage fest. Save money and buy COD any version better than this.

From the maps, not nearly enough destruction, the worst Ul I've ever laid eyes on, the lazy customization, the classes being boring, pointless challenges, slow progression, portal being a dud after all they hyped about it, the battle pass is a joke, even the new modes fall flat. Basically, everything has issues. And when I'm talking about issues, I'm speaking of the awful hit detection, TTK, TTD, all terrible - the biggest issues with the game and they won't fix them. In order to have a great FPS experience, at the very least, it's a must that you actually have good shooting mechanics and it flat out doesn't. The maps are atrocious and tedious to play with no flow whatsoever. It's as if this wasn't throughly playtested. This is just CoD with an EA sticker on it. I've lost count on the amount of times I've gone into a lobby with maybe 10-15 real people playing, the rest are just bots. I had hopes of this being a game I got immersed in and would be grinding for a long while, but what it did in actuality is make me tidy up

I love this genre, and I’m a regular cod player. Given some decent hype about this game, I figured I’d try it. What a colossal waste. The actual mechanics are terrible on the PS5- I will be killed by someone before I see them, or I’ll unload an entire clip on them only for it to have no effect and they kill me seemingly with one shot. I’m not sure if it is tuned for a PC and better there, but the console experience is terrible. Sniper rifle right to the head? Sorry, they don’t die, now you need to rerack your gun and they take you out. Ha ha it takes forever to respawn, and then it you respawn and are killed by some camper immediately. Have fun! The only thing more sad than the game is that I can’t get a refund. What a waste of money and I’m really disappointed in myself for wasting money on it.
